中共十八大以來，以習近平為總書記的黨中央把脫貧攻堅擺到治國理政的重要位置，提升到事關全面建成小康社會、實現第一個百年奮斗目標的新高度，納入“五位一體”總體布局和“四個全面”戰略布局。
Since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, the CPC Central Committee headed by its general secretary Xi Jiping has prioritized poverty reduction in national governance. Highlighting its role in building an "all-round well-off society" and realizing the first “centenary goal,” the central authority included poverty alleviation into the national strategies of “Five-in-one” and “Four Comprehensives.”
