SHANGHAI, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Moroccan-born Hamza Boukili teaches at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Paris Elite Institute of Technology (SPEIT). He is also an entrepreneur deeply involved in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector in Shanghai.

In 2016, Boukili went to Tongji University in Shanghai on an exchange program from France, when he realized the great career development opportunity in China. He then returned to France to continue his doctoral studies and persisted in learning Chinese. After receiving his doctor's degree in France in 2020, he came back to Shanghai and joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Shanghai's openness towards cutting-edge technologies such as AI and its well-developed innovation ecosystem inspired Boukili to start his own business. He launched Shanghai Yunsuan Tech Company and threw himself into the AI arena at the end of 2024. Well-established office infrastructure, ample computing capabilities and abundant talent reserves in the AI Alumni Center of Caohejing Hi-tech Park provide easy-access platforms for his company to streamline operation, drive innovation, connect with customers and explore new collaborations.
