Xu Zhangqin (L) discusses production techniques of noodles with a worker at Baiyujia food company in Qianjiang District, southwest China's Chongqing, Oct. 24, 2018. Xu Zhangqin, a local noodle maker, started learning to make hand-made noodles from his parents when he was a child. Xu ran a noodle workshop in the early stage of his business, and later in 2015, he set up the Baiyujia food company, introducing modern noodle production line to combine the traditional manual techniques with mechanical equipment. While producing traditional noodles, he also developed nearly 20 varieties of noodles. Besides, more than 20 villagers get their income increased by working at Xu's company. Nowadays Xu's company also exported noodles to Japan, Australia, the United States and other countries. (Xinhua/Yang Min)
