Aerial photo taken on April 24, 2019 shows Yin Ziyu (R) walking with her mother Liu Jihua on a wheelchair in front of their home at Shanjian Village of Lizhuang Township in Lianyungang City, east China's Jiangsu Province. Yin Ziyu, a 23-year old villager in Shanjian Village, is widely known in the village for her story of taking care of her disabled mother Liu Jihua. Yin's father died of liver cancer when she was four years old. Since then, she and her grandparents took care of her mother Liu living with congenital rickets. At the age of 15, Yin began to take care of her mother alone in a new house built by local cadres and villagers. The story of Yin and her mother tugged at the heartstrings of local farmer Dong Hongwu. Later on, Yin and Dong tied the knot and the couple took care of Liu together. Last year, Liu was diagnosed with breast cancer. Yin accompanied her mother to undergo surgery and chemotherapy while her husband worked outside to support the family. (Xinhua/Ji Chunpeng)
