Fu Xianghong embroiders at her workshop in Guangfu Town in Wuzhong District of Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, on March 14, 2019. Fu Xianghong and her daughter Fu Hanlu were from a long line of embroidery. In 2015 Fu Xianghong was appointed as a representative inheritor of Suzhou embroidery, which was listed as one of Wuzhong's intangible heritages. Her works of unique style combining practicality and artistry were ever presented during Beijing Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. Her daughter Fu Hanlu also showed great interest in embroidery and at present she taught related class in Suzhou Centennial College.
