BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Airbus has delivered China Express with an A320 airplane, the first Airbus passenger plane equipped with seats manufactured by a Chinese company, according to Airbus China Wednesday.

It is a new milestone for the Airbus-China industrial cooperation, said Airbus China.

The newly-delivered A320 aircraft has a two-cabin layout with four seats in the business class and 168 seats in the economy class. It will soon be used in China Express domestic routes.

These aircraft seats were made by Ali-Jiatai Aircraft Equipment Co., Ltd. based in Xiangyang, central China's Hubei Province.

The company was listed on Airbus buyer furnished equipment(BFE) product catalog in 2017. It is also the seat supplier of China-developed C919 large passenger aircraft.

To date, the A320 single-aisle aircraft family has received 14,700 orders and delivered more than 8,400 to customers worldwide, according to Airbus China.
